I am interested in getting basic open water certification. No experience or equipment, but have always wanted to scuba dive and have been saving money for a class. Could anyone please help me out with some basic facts about getting certification? Any suggestions on good instructors? What is standard cost? What should I look for in classes? Are there different types of certifications or are they all recognized internationally? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I CAN'T WAIT until I can get out in the ocean!
