Hello: I live in the Central Valley and usually dive Monterey/Morro Bay or San Simeon. I was wondering what the diving at Refugio was like this time of year. Where is the best place to beach dive from? How about parking fees and what about the number of people? Is Gaviota any better? Also, I would like one of you scuba experts to please explain to me the difference between using an AL 80 and switching to a steel 95/100. I don't know the difference between high and low pressure steel, but would like info. on this. I would really like to increase my bottom time;I usually dive solo and go no deeper than 40 feet, using an old AL 80. Thank you very much for the info. B. Xavier
