The "Bruce" used to be my main anchor. I used 30 feet of chain on it for a 22 foot boat and it would never drag, even at 3:1 scope. It was just too heavy lifting up and down so I got my hands on a fortress for nada. Been using it since and I'm sold. Light, sets as fast as the Bruce, & the hold is unbelieveable.
I now use the bruce as a 2nd for a Bahama mooring out at the islands. It is just a bit heavy for everyday use.
