Last weekend Kathryn & I went on a three day trip on the Great Escape to San Clemente Island.
The first dive of our three day trip last weekend was at Window Pane, on the front side of San Clemente Island.
After a bumpy ride across, it was very calm at the dive site. The water was a comfy 62°F.
I sighted several juvenile treefish on this dive, and almost every dive throughout the weekend.
”treefish”
Visability was at least 40 ft., and better in places.

I took several nice pictures of the parasitic zoanthid anemones on a gorgonian.

I saw lobster and scallops.

While we were on the inside wall, a halibut shot up from the sand below and grabbed a fish. Although the camera was not set for the shot I did manage to get a picture.

It was a great dive to start out three day trip
