Did a dive at Long Point on Saturday morning. Security opened the gate at 7:00 AM (after rounding up the goats that escaped).
Ocean was calm, but the waves were a bit too big with the low tide to do an entry at the point, so we entered from the beach on the east side of the cove. We swam out to the reef and kelp bed to the south-east of our entry point. The vis was about 10-12' over the sandy bottom, but only about 8-10' in the kelp beds.
The water was a warm 72 degrees at 34 feet.
