Ocean Safari does a very nice job and will even tranport ALL the gear to and from the boat for you.
Santa Barbara Island is the place to go if you want to be garunteed to see sea lions.
Also as ChrisM suggested Reef Seekers is another shop that will have trips suitable for you.
