I was swimming upward about 35 ft and he "crossed paths" with me, swimming horizontal. We about crashed into each other and I'm not sure who scared who the most but we both had a look of surprise and he darted immediately. Have to admit the rest of the dive everytime the kelp would touch me I was thinking " what was THAT???!!!"
