Those are the clubs that have been in contact with GLACD over this last year. Also, I know that other active clubs include the Antelope Valley Dive Club, the Burbank Dive Club, and the Barnacle Busters.

Each club seems to have its own "character" so it is just a matter of finding a group that you feel comfortable with. You should contact the different clubs and see if they have trips going out. You should be able to find something that suits your interest.

There are many more fine clubs, but they are further out and will require a drive to get to them. Pick up a copy of California Diving News and they have a page on clubs and club activities in the back. Also, LA County diving resources has a page that lists a lot of the clubs at:
