San Diego has always been a fickle place for me. I've had one of my worst dives at the Coronodos and some great dives. Same with the SD kelp beds and Wreck Alley. I would say that SD should be getting better conditions by now, but with this rred tide everywhere, I don't know. Call Blue Escape or Ocean Enterprises and ask them what it's like. If conditions are good, vis might be from 20 to 30 feet. Bad is 3 to 10.
While San Clemente is beautiful and almost always good diving, for some reason most of that island is less fascinating to me and I can't say why. Still, I bet the conditions are better there for comfortable diving. If conditions are good, vis might be from 40 to 70 feet. Bad is 10 to 20.
You decide. Hopefully it will be a good dive.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
