I checked out both those links. You've posted links like them before. That is an amazing dive area. I usually just refer to it as the Horsheshoe kelp. Can you imagine back when the entire area off of San pedro had dispersed kelp beds. The area is huge and there is a lot to see, but there is mostly sand and it's mostly a bit deep. I could make those dives with my 100 easily enough. I've only been to one wreck there and I think it was the Valient ? an old gambling boat that got rammed.... I think that is great diving.
Hey, do you see much in the way of the small reefs that are out there? That's what I used to look for, but my favorite reef (near the Valient) got dredged. It's a bit weird diving out there in the open currents. I'd love to go back there.
