I prefer to use a 2 liter bottle with the lable removed for the closet light show. The flexible bottle will really flash when you smack the bottle. After a bright flash, you will have to let it rest for a few minutes before it will do much. Take at least two bottles of the red water home so you can enjoy lots of flashes.

Also the stuff will die overnight, so you will need to get new water every day that you want to play. Another cool thing. Do not dump the water out that night. Instead, wait until the next day and you see the little brown bodies on the bottom of the jar. They sink once they cannot swim anymore.
