Hello: Just thought you'd like to know what diving in Cambria is like. I've been diving near the rock and straight out from Leffingwell Landing for the last few weeks and the diving has been excellent. Near the rock the vis. was approx. 30 feet, and out from the landing it was about 20. Speared big lings at both spots, and have seen big Cabs and some very nice rockfish. Depth near the rock is approx. 50 feet, and the kelp beds straight out from the landing are anywhere from 30 to 50 feet deep. I dive from my Fish & Dive and what a great dive platform it is. This is also a great place for an aluminum boat, since the beach launch is only a twenty yard drag. Fishing is wide open here, but the diving is most excellent. Bring all of your gear because the nearest place to get air is Larry's Dive Shop in Morro Bay, or in San Luis Obispo. Come dive here. B. Xavier
