We saw three off Blue Caverns two weeks ago, then a single seven miles outside L.A. light on our way home. A few years ago there were a lot of them hanging around the backside of Catalina. Maybe they came back to check out the red tide. I hope the conditions improve so more people can get the chance to see these magnificent giants. We had fifty feet vis at the Olympic this morning and the water was clear in Cabrillo Marina for a change. Maybe things are getting back to normal.
