I am currently in Ecuador and want to become Padi certified. I have my choice of learning in the Galapagos 1,000 dollars or Machalilla (poor manīs galapagos)680 dollars. All in all I think it will be equal in cost to getting certified in California (southbay area) since everything is included; course instruction, rental of equipment, food, transportation, and hotel. Does anyone out there know if the Galapagos is worth the extra dinero?
