The red tide moves around. Last month the entire Palos Verdes peninsula was surrounded. In some places it was only the top 20-40 feet, but in others it reached deeper than 100 feet. The West side of the peninsula has been marginal this week, with vis below ten fet at 15-20 feet. The South side is still pretty bad. I made three dives Monday at Pt. Fermin, Neptune Cove and Christmas Tree Cove where I had the best vis, ten feet at 60 feet deep. I've heard Catalina has improved to around fifty feet vis at Ship Rock.
