There were three women on that trip. All three were agressive in hunting. One particularly was
much better than here husband. When one husband
wife team limited out on lobsters early on day
three, it was the woman who started to then
collect scallops.
My experience in DM'ing and crewing on the GE
for multi-day hunting trips is that it's a ratio
usually about 1:10. For hunting,I more depends on
the group you are out with than the type of trip.
If you are out with the Sea Divers on such a trip,
the ratio of women to men is upwards around 1:5.
This weekend we will be out on a three day trip
to hunt lobster again. The group we will be out
with brought 6 women with them last July, and one
of them was one helluva spear fisher-person.
