Monday night at Redondo Pier breakwater. Started our dive around 8:00PM at the southern tip of the breakwater working our way to the middle. Light swell (2-3'), surface temp 58 deg. Vis was very bad, mostly 5', sometimes almost 0', occasionally clearing up to 10'. Red tide still in force. My friend caught 4 lobsters but they are nowhere as abundant as opening night. Saw lots of large sand bass, sculpins and sheep crabs, 1 torpedo ray. The tide was high, so most of the dive was done in 40-50' and the water was cold at the bottom. Bottom time 50 mn.
