This probably is going to sound lame, but any experience using a HID canister light out of water. I know the manufacturer says not to but... it's getting dark a lot later and am toying with the idea of doing double duty with my canister light and using it with my mountain bike. I plan to have the canister tucked safely in a large hydraton pack. I know it sounds like a bad idea, but the cost for a similar setup is almost the same for the mtn. bike version and I wouldn't be able to use it diving. Please be kind with your responses and thanks in advance.
