when you haven't been to the island in 15 years? I've been there twice in the last 2 years...if you leave your windows down, the vehicle unlocked, and nothing of value (this means sunglasses, clothing, anything that you would miss if you came back and were gone) you will have no problem.
Some folks leave their cash and wallets in the vehicles...I don't even do that at home...let alone in another country...I think you should go back and give it another try...you just might like it...:-)
