It looks like BonBini is the onsite dive
operator. We've decided to get there and
do a couple of dives with them as well as
ask around.
When we were in Belize in 2000 the initial
recommendation was to use the onsite operator,
but we heard some horror stories. Upon doing a
couple of dives, we weren't impressed but
couldn't point to any real flaws. The best
references were for Amigos del Mar. We abandon
our hotel operator and were VERY pleased with
the trips/staff at Amigos.
