DFG director watch: The Chronicle has reported that former Secretary of State Bill Jones has been offered the job to run California's Resources Agency. If he accepts (less than a 50-percent chance), the director of Fish and Game job will be offered to Mike Chrisman, a rancher from Visalia, current vice president of the State Fish and Game Commission -- and chief of staff for Jones when he was an assemblyman
