Need instruction Bad

I received my Basic Diver cert. through PADI back in 1978 - its been a couple of decades since I've been SCUBA diving -- I am a good swimmer and only 38 years old - I want to get back into this fun and exciting sport. Is there anyone out there who can recommend the best way to go about getting intruction? - I live in Santa Monica.
