Another 2-11PM dive on the Pacific star, and another limit (almost) I could not believe the amount of bugs just walking around in the open. I did get 6 bugs, but lost two legal ones when after measureing one, another appeared, a bit bigger. The old bird in the hand quandry...and yes, I went for it with my open hand, losing both bugs in the process.

Give the Pac Star a try on the 2 - 11 PM dive. I have made five trips in that similar time zone with them\and each time I limited out. Sure beats the all nighter thing or the twelve hour boat ride to Cortes! And listen to Dave, he knows where the bugs are, and the technique to find them. Last night he said get on your hands and knees and look in the bull kelp fronds, and in five minutes I did find and catch 5 bugs...although I saw at least twenty. Seeing loose bugs in kelp fronds is not the same as catching bugs in kelp fronds!

Did I mention the roaqst beef and mashed potatos?
