This This KTLA article talks about a film they showed last night of a juvinile Great White off of the Manhattan Beach Pier. The local lifegaurds insist it was a thersher, but I saw the film.... It was a Great White.
The shark was said to be about 8 feet long, a juvinile.
Perhaps there were thershers here as well, all gathered to take part in the anuual squid feeding frenzy at nearby Redondo Canyon.
