Keiko the killer whale, who gained fame starring in the “Free Willy” movies, died in the Norwegian bay that he made his home after a 10-year campaign failed to coax him back to the open seas.
Millions of dollars were spent trying to teach him to survive, but he didn't bond with other whales, apparently feared swimming under ice and died less than two years after he was freed.
This big guy loved to eat fish.
Schools of fish were out early upon hearing the news.
