The UB88 was stripped before it was sunk and what little brass there was is no longer there. I think the team diving it now just wants to be able to photograph and document everything before anyone else tears it up. Although there's nothing of any value on the wreck, I do know a few divers who collect hinges and screws. :-)
I love diving wrecks like this just to see the amount of marine life and to be able to see something that relatively few will ever see. I'll get to dive it someday. I'm patient.
