Hi!
I used to dive the Cooper while my husband was stationed in Charleston. Our dive shop would go every month to fossel hunt. I had the misfortune to be mistaken for a BIG fish by a nosy "gator" at about 57 feet. The mishap was picked up by the local news and then went national.
"SKIN DIVER" magizine got in touch with me and asked if I would like to write about it for their "I Learned About Diveng From That" section. That was 16 years ago but I still have the article if anyone would like to read it.
