One thing you forgot to mention, the reserves work. Over and over it has been proven that they work. The fishermen benefit. Instead of the fishermen going completely out of business, they get to keep fishing. Usually, the supporters of the reserves say that it will take at least 5 years for the fishing surrounding the reserves to improve. It turns out that actual reports say that it has usually been closer to 3 years. I also got that first hand from the fishers in the Bahamas. The reserves are in the interest of the fishermen too. The alternative is not pleasant.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
