Sad thing is, any sport angler could kill that beautiful fish and there isn't a darn thing we can do about it. When i see rare and unique fish like that, it occurs to me that the DFG needs to make a list of species that can be killed by recreational anglers. Any fish not on that list must be returned to the water. I hope it survives so that others may experience what you have.
