I have a NorthernDiver compressed neoprene suit which is clearly headed for retirement, and am considering a new drysuit-- this time probably a trilam. The FifthD-1000 trilaminate suit looks like a good choice, and I wanted to see if anybody out there has had any experience with this particular suit. I am also sort of thinking about staying with a compressed neoprene suit, and was struck by the Diving Concepts Pinnacle 200, which is only 2mm thick and undoubtedly a good deal more flexibile than my ND suit. Anbody have any experience with this suit, or comments as to how it might stack up against a trilam like the FifthD-1000? Most of my diving is in the Monterey/Carmel area, and I get out often enough (about every other weekend) that durability is definitely important. Thanks.
