Welcome to the wonderful world of Diving!!!
To answer your question there are many Groups or clubs you can join... The Sandeaters is one (look them up)-- they dive every Sunday--At least that's their goal! We have a club/ group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scuba-tude/

We try to go out twice a week (that's our goal)-- We charter our own boats and make beach dives... I invite you to check us out.

The important thing is To dive... Try to make a dive once a month!

Because speaking as an instructor there is nothing more frustrating than training a student and watching them drop out of the sport after the first year (if they make it that long)!

Statistically Divers only make about 22-23 dives in their diving career (something like that). That's sad cause after you buy all your equipment the sport is cheap!

Don't be like one of those people that knows how to dive---Be a DIVER!

Good luck!!!!
