Hello: Thanks for the info. I weigh about 235 (solid steel) and the two-piece wetsuit (6.5) probably doesn't help the amount of weight I have to carry. I'll go one piece next time and drop a few pounds. I'm not mathematically inclined, but I'd say I do use a little air. I need to figure this out. I usually dive the Central Coast- Morro Bay, Cambria, and Monterey and don't usually go deeper than 60 feet. I haven't had a problem with air but thought a 6 cu. ft. backup might be a good idea. I've heard the Spare Airs aren't so good. Maybe I don't need a backup at all. Dove Monterey yesterday and saw a nice leopard shark. The cross current near Coral Street was kicking my butt.
