A few years ago when that big surfing event was happening out there, i was at SCI and i remember the swells on the outer waters peaked out at 26ft that day. The biggest wave of the event from what i read was about 60ft. We haven't had a swell over 25 ft since around Jan 03' if my memory serves me...
It did pipe up out there a couple of weeks ago, but unlike the big event, there was a lot of wind at the time.
