I have only fair air consumption and my surface at rest rate was 0.7 cfm the last time I measured it.
Now that you know how to measure your rate rate, do it find out for youeself. The longer you go the more accurate reading you will get. The results can be quite enlighting.
The 300 psi is a safty factor that also acounts for depth effects. Air servo regulators such as some models of Posiedons and Oceanics need a tank pressure of 150 psi above ambient to operate.
