After reading about the theft of dive gear, I remembered one "golden" opportunity when nothing was stolen while I was diving. After gearing up for a night dive into Redondo Canyon, I remembered something in the truck and opened the door. Then we made the dive. Upon our return to the parking lot at Vets after the dive, I discovered the door to the truck wide open. I certainly thought that somebody burgled me only to find everything, including my wallet, in place. Seems we aren't overrun by low-lifes after all.
