Weight change required when moving to a lighter wetsuit

As a relatively new diver I am finding it difficult working out how much weight to take off when I move to a lighter wetsuit. Does anyone have data on the buoyancy of various wetsuits?

Is there a relationship between the weight (on land) of the wetsuit and is buoyancy?
