Dove with 2 other buddies with overcast skies and no wind at 10 am. First time for all diving here, and we were not disapointed. Easy sand entry, small waves, and lots to see. We kicked out to the outer kelp paddies and dropped down to 29ft. We weaved our way in and out of the healthy forests seeing a bat ray, sheepshead, bass, senoritas, and a grove of gorgonians. Vis was 10-20 ft. Also it was my first time hunting for halibut. I didnt see any in the beginning, too camoflauged maybe? But by fluke, I stoped to get a visual of my buddies, saw them, and just happened to look down in the sand-and there it was. My wife and I will be having a lot more halibut dinners.

Great dives,

Andrew
