Last night of the lobster season and my buddy Jason and I dove on the "Pacific Star" dive boat out of King Harbor, Redondo Beach. We had a great trip, overall. We did one twilight dive and two night dives. Dave Harvey put us “on the spots” and I was able to get my limit, with two really good-sized bugs. Also, thanks to Johnny, the food on board was great!! Dinner on the boat was the St Patrick Day's special, Corned Beef and cabbage.
Since my boat's been down with a few projects going on, it was nice to be able to sleep on the way back in and not have to worry about navigating, and no scrubbing the boat afterwards!
If anyone wants to dive on a charter boat, I highly recommend the "Pacific Star". It recently changed ownership and already the service has improved dramatically.
