Throughout SSI's training materials we stress not to touch or harass the aquatic life beginning with our Risk Awareness video required for the open water diver program.
Each store is independently owned and operated they are not corporate stores and SSI does not have jurisdiction over their practices except when it comes to training standards.
Just like Scuba Pro, Aqua Lung or any other manufacturer SSI is simply another vendor that the individual store can use to meet their needs when dealing with customers.
In fact SSA uses not only SSI for their training needs but ANDI for their technical training needs.
