The stock 4L tank on the Dolphin with a 40% mix is
good for 75 minutes runtime in a perfect world.
But it's not a perfect world, and gas loss due to
mask clearing, ascent, etc., makes 55 minutes a
a reasonable expected run time. I've done a bit
a couple of minutes over an hour once or twice.
I can do those runtimes on open circuit on an HP 100. And if I'm not out of film in an hour, I want
to go dive somewhere else anyway.

Runtimes are not affected by depth, BTW.

Runtimes increase with hotter mixes. It's a bit
less than two hours (IIRC) with a 60 mix.

If you want just duration in recreational depths,
get weighted and trimmed right, streamline
your gear, and get relaxed. And if you are a
Hoover you probably have a comfort or experience
shortage and aren't ready for rebreathers.
