I think sausages make great markers but also a great sos. Nice to know that someone saw a diver flying one and really did something. I once got trounced by a wave and broke my leg on a entry in high surf.
I yelled waved and did everything in the book to get someone onshore to help(my buddy also got pounded, needless to say one dive that should have been scrapped!) Well the people onshore just waved back. It took a pocket flare wizzing by there head to help us. To top it off my new dive knife got "missed placed" on the way to the hospital. Nice to know someone cares
