it will keep for a long, long time; you will be able to get the top off easily; and it only takes about five minutes after you take it out of the freezer to use again.
As Jon said, Cotol, when mixed with Aquaseal will dry in an hour or two. But, be sure to use the solvent in a well ventilated place as it contains toluene.
