My point being, regarding the D/M on the Sundiver, is that the only excuse I can think of for him would be that he was over-tasked to begin with, on this trip, and then not properly backed up by the captain himself.
But that is just my own conjecture. I was not there. So I will defer to the boat captain in the meantime. But you can bet that the Coast Guard wont.
