If you are diving the rigs off Long Beach, Eureka, Ellen, etc. I think that the first grids are at about 60 feet. You don't have to go very deep to see tons of things. Anemonies, scallops, nudibranchs, cabezon, sea lions, etc. are all above 80 feet. The white Metridiums are a little deeper, at 90 feet plus. Each rig is a little different. I like the Eureka the best as I think that it has the most color.
