Elaine, how could you take that picture? Chris, please delete that post. It's just terrible to see a diver taking a scallop like that, that kind of barbaric trophy shot went out in the 50's. And the diver is smiling. How could he take a scallop like that. It's just terrible. That's not how we should treat the ocean. I'm a level 3 vegan, I won't eat anything that casts a shadow. Why couldn't the diver just have taken a picture of the scallop? he has a perfectly good camera hung over his right arm. Then we could all enjoy a picture of the scallop, instead af just that one diver (and maybe his wife) enjoying a plate of scallops in alfredo sauce over tortelini.
Oh, wait, the narcosis is wearing off.
You know, there's no reason you can't enjoy a picture *and* a plate of scallops. Or, as it used to say on the side of the Hotel Barracuda in Cozumel, " Make new friends, and then eat them!"
