Here is a picture of Kathryn Cody with the octopus on the left, hooked around her head with a tech style neclace. It works in this case becasue a Posieden regulator can feed from either side.
Most regulators are designed only to feed correctly from the right side, hence that is where thoose octos are placed.
I personally like having only the primary reg on the right side.
