Posiedion's and Oceanic Omegas feed equally well from either side. That is one of the several reasons I like them. I know several people who use Oceanic Omegas as octos.
Other octos that feed from either side are:
Daccor Viper
Posiedon Odin
Posiedon Xtreme
The Air Buddy should be avoided.
