Hello,
Last night me and a buddy were diving at Las Tunas and heard a strange noise when we submerged. From the topside we could hear nothing but once we submerged we could hear a throbbing engine-like noise, perhaps like a big boat. It stayed constant throughout the whole dive, didn't get quiet or seem to move away, so maybe the object was stationary. When we surfaced, we could see nothing unusual, just the ocean. It was very calm and no boat lights or anything were seen anywhere around us.
We swam out south towards the kelp beds and it seemed to get louder and there was more churned up stuff- some surge, too, so I don't know if there was a vent or something from a factory or what. Does anybody know of anything that may have caused this sound around Las Tunas?
