Here is a short video of Bat Rays seen at San Clemente Island. I was on the Encore on Sunday 05-23-04 on a Reef Seekers charter. The video is about 5.3mb Windows Media Player 8/9 required.

I think these were pregnant females (I notices they had a swollen belly). I read they give birth to live young in the summer. Is this why they seemed so mellow? There were over 20 of them in this one sand area. We were about 30-40 feet deep.

The dive site was called "Inside the outside boiler" I think.
