Not to pick on you, but there are other ways.... besides Eric's finger masher method.
Slide the iron in real well to break the ab's grip and lift up to lift the whole ab up. It doesn't pinch to the shell.
I think the most important part is no matter how you do it, do it calmly with control.
Maybe I'll practice next month.
